As we stand on the threshold of a New Year, we often reflect on the past and antici
pate on the future. The New Year offers a unique opportunity for a fresh start, a
chance to renew our commitment to God, to our purpose, and to the calling He has
placed on our lives.
To embrace this new beginning as we trust in God we should:-
- Remember God’s Faithfulness in the Past.
As we look back on the year that has passed, it’s essential to recognize God’s hand in
our lives. The challenges we faced, the victories we experienced, and the lessons we
learned, all testify to God’s unchanging faithfulness. - Embrace God’s Mercies for the Present
“They are new every morning.”
The New Year is a reminder that God’s mercies are fresh and available to us every sin
gle day. No matter what the past year held, we can start a new with God’s Grace. - Commit to Walking in Faith for the Future:
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understand
ing” (Proverbs 3:5).
As we move into the New Year, it’s crucial to commit our plans and desires to God,
trusting in His perfect wisdom and timing.
This year as PCEA Thome we shall take some practical steps to be successful. - Renew our Prayer Life.
- Serve Others.
- Trust God Fully.
Conclusion:
As we step into the New Year, let us do so with hearts full of gratitude, minds focused
on God’s promises, and lives committed to His service. His mercies are new every
morning, and His faithfulness is great. With God by our side, we can face the future
with a lot of confidence and hope.
