LEADERSHIP AND STEWARDSHIP IN THE POTTERS HANDS

All Christians, have been endowed with gifts and responsibilities. These are shaped and directed by God, the ultimate leader and steward of all creation. Its is a great honor that the Almighty God trust us and allows us to use our will to make the decision about what belongs to us but under our care.

What we have been given should never be about personal power or control but should be used as guided by God’s will. Just as a potter shapes clay into a useful vessel, God shapes our hearts and minds to reflect His purposes. True leaders acknowledge their dependence on God’s guidance and seek to lead with humility, compassion, and wisdom, understanding that their authority is a gift from God and meant to serve others.

As stewards we are tasked with the grace to manage resources and responsibilities entrusted to us. It is not about ownership but about careful and faithful management of what belongs to God. As stewards, we are called to handle our talents, time, relationships, and material resources with integrity. always considering how they reflect God’s glory and serve His kingdom.

Leadership and stewardship in God’s hands require a surrendered heart, ready to be shaped and used according to His plans. When we embrace God as our potter, we can lead and steward in a way that honours Him, recognizing that all we have and all we do is ultimately for His purpose and glory.

As we take up new responsibilities in the church, lets ensure that we are good stwerds of what the Lords has entrusted us with.

“God’s purpose is always greater than our comfort, and His refining work in our lives may involve difficult decisions that lead to greater strength and effectiveness for His kingdom.” – Billy Graham
